Barry Sanders

Sanders had a phenomenal three-year career at Oklahoma State University, winning the Heisman Trophy in 1988. He set 13 NCAA career records, including yards gained (2,628), yards rushing per game (238.9), touchdowns (39), and touchdowns rushing (37).

He played his 10-year NFL career for the Detroit Lions and was the first NFL running back to gain more than 1,000 yards in 10 consecutive seasons and the first to rush for more than 1.500 yards in five different seasons.

In 1997 his rushing and receiving yardage was an amazing 2,358 and he became just the third back in NFL history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. He was inducted into both the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame in 2004.
