The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame Award of Merit is presented to Jim Thorpe Association staff members and volunteers who work diligently behind the scenes to keep the association’s events and projects moving in the right direction. These are the people who distribute programs, decorate banquets, make flight arrangements, keep records, pay bills, write letters, collect auction items, and take care of hundreds of other details necessary to the successful operation of our organization.
