Jim Thorpe Award Winner – 1994, Colorado

Chris Hudson was a consensus All-American safety from the University of Colorado. Hudson finished his college career second in interceptions and fifth in pass deflections on Colorado’s all-time charts. Hudson was known for his versatility as a defensive back. He could play any position in the defensive backfield and play them all well. He won the 1994 Jim Thorpe Award, and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 1995 NFL draft. He played six seasons in the NFL.
